      Good Quality Rewireable Plugs

      I've used these 'heavy' duty Permaplugs in various colours to make custom length mains extension cables for a long time. Never had any problems or with the the matching trailing sockets either. The 5 pack plugs package is the most cost effect way of buying them. Only negative - the recommended stripped lengths of the Earth, Neutral and Live wires is unforgiving. Any shorter, for whatever reason, and they won't reach the terminals without stretching. That is not a good idea. The trailing sockets likewise except the Earth wire where the recommend length is oddly unnecessarily long.

      The plug will probably outlast the socket as the socket contacts are "flimsy".

      Product is of mediocre quality but fair price to value ratio. In a world where all manufacture is to a price these items are OK!

      High visibility plug

      Robustly made plug, with a distinctive colour which makes it highly visible. The cable clamp is effective, and there is a short cover over the cable entry point, which avoids stress on the cable joint. Also the small rim running round the edges makes it easier to grip when withdrawing the plug from its socket.
