    Decent product

    Managed to snap a head bolt on my motorbike, once the head was off, using this tool made light work of removing the remaining section. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it was very hard to get the tool to grip tight enough, you'll need a 300mm adjustable spanner or something like a 32mm spanner to get an effective grip on the snapped bolt! Overall a great product for when your entire project hangs in the balance!

    NOT AS GOOD AS THEY SAY

    Expected great things of this after reading the reviews but I can say if the bolt is really tight this will only make matters worse by chewing up the remains but NOT loosening it at all.Semi tight would probably work but there are much better methods out there.

    My miracle worker

    I had two broken off exhaust manifold studs that just would not move after trying all the conventional ways of removal. This product as advertised seemed too good to be true but I was lost for alternatives and my original stud remover had not worked. Five minutes after delivery I put it to work. It locked on quickly and as all the pressure was placed directly on the stud it moved within 3 or four quarter turns of the ratchet Easy to use and a well put together quality piece of kit.

    Impact Stud Extractor 6-13 ..studs/bolts

    It's virtually impossible to get the tool to lock onto a 6mm stud - when I tried it just spun on the stud and rounded it off! Probably better for the upper range in size as you can lock the tool on more easily but I wanted the too for removing 6 mm studs. Would not recommend for a 6 mm exhuast stud as the chuck is really difficult to tighten as the boss screws into the back of the chuck. The outer chuck spanner fit size is larger than my biggest metric spanner.

    Awesome.

    Had my doubts about this but reading other comments and the 5 star rating thought give it a go. 1990 Fiat petrol manifold stud snapped with about 15mm protruding out. Attached this tool with my ratchet and at first thought it was just slipping until it wouldn't slip anymore. Gripped that stud and with 1 crack unscrewed it out. Quality.
