Seller notes: “Externally both volumes are in fine condition, with light shelf wear only, save for some splitting ... “Externally both volumes are in fine condition, with light shelf wear only, save for some splitting to the hinge of the top board to volume I and a little evidence of cracking to the bottom part of the hinge to volume II. Both are intact and show no signs of cracking/splitting to the interior. Internally clean but showing some light age toning. Remnants of removed bookplate to the front paste-down of volume I and an unused bookplate placed over a previous owner's bookplate to the front paste-down of volume II which also has the book plate for M H Goldberg to the rear paste down, albeit upside down.”
