Cheesey fun sci-fi action movie.
I have a love/hate relationship with this movie. Stallone gives a pretty wooden performance, but everyone else around him is giving it their all. As a comicbook adaptation, theme & characterwise it's way off the mark, but the design is just stunning. The movie is basically Demolition Man 2, by way of Bladerunner meets Robocop. Cheesey, cliched, but a lot of fun. The blu ray transfer is spotless. This is the Spanish release, so all the menus are in Spanish, but an English 5.1 DTS soundtrack is an option. There are some unavoidable subtitles for onscreen signs and words, but these don't intrude too much. The Dianne Lane V Joan Chen 3rd act fight has thankfully, not had the headbut cut out, as it inexplicably was in the UK releases.I have a love/hate relationship with this movie.
