Did as described on the label at a good price, hard to beat for value for money. Even comes with sock to cover mic.
Tested out item with my sony android smart phone, used it to record via headset input on phone and got excellent result. Adapter connecting wires are an ideal length approximately 1.5" to 2" long, to work it ot in cm x by 2.54.

intermittent on a Toshiba laptop
Connected to my Toshiba Laptop with analogue headphones and mic. I had intermittent problems with this splitter where by the other person could not hear me or it would cut out and i could not her them. I ordered a different one just to confirm whether if it was my laptop or the splitter. Upon examination it appears the jack on this one is slightly bigger and the other splitter worked fine on my laptop. This may work with yours but it didn't work properly for me.Connected to my Toshiba Laptop with analogue headphones and mic. It does what is required
It does the job. I can now connect my phone's headphone socket to my kitchen radio so as to play my music. A plain & simple TRRS to TRS cable would have been better but I could't find one.

It did not work ! bought another from different source and that did , so this one definitely did not work, its not very well made looking, cheap materials ! cheap price ! had to but one twice the cost though
