    Excellent range of features. No problem connecting to computer.

    Superb picture quality and all the manual controls you could wish for. My fastest computer (Windows7) did not have a firewire socket but I bought a firewire card for £5 on ebay, plugged it into the motherboard and was then able to import my HDV videos to the computer with no problems, using the Windows Movie Maker software which is free with Windows7. I can also transfer edited video back to a tape in the camera and can record an AV signal from the freeview box onto a tape in the camera.

    Lense not operating!

    Although I have been able to recharge the battery after being compelled to buy a new separate charger, there is no image appearing on the LCD screen, which DOES illuminate with charge details, nor through the viewfinder. This is despite the front lense gate being unlocked. So I am very disappointed ,as a repair will cost well over £100!

    Top camera with tons of pro features

    if you want to take pro quality video on a budget under £1000 you cant really beat this it has so many pro features you can't go wrong and you can get an adapter from firewire to thunderbolt for a fiver on eBay I am sure.
