    Good Value

    I bought this PH Photosmart M417 as I had previously bought the M415, which was distroyed in an accident, along with the PH Photosmart 420 portable photo studio. The M415, though a bit old, I found to be light and ideal for taking the type of pictures I want; the M417 is no different and as it also docks with the 420 I can now continue to print my own photographs.

    hewlett packard digital camera

    This is my 3rd Hewlett Packard camera. The last two died without warning. Whilst this is amazingly annoying and expensive I cannot fault the camera when it works! It is so easy to use, the photos superb. I have tried much more expensive makes, which I know much more reliable, but I always go back to this make, whilst the others sit in the draw! I can't be doing with all the complicated stuff, I just want to take a good photo and capture the moment. Without a doubt you'll get with the Hewlett Packard M417...Just remember the romance won't last for ever, and that you should try and bag another before it's too late!

    Good but not great

    Had a Hewlett Packard camera that developed a lens issue...apparently quite common, but had all the software installed so decided to get another. SD card is a great system and slots nicely into the laptop and the HP back up on and off-line is great.However I didn`t want to spend alot of money but should have spent a little more time investigating the model choices. It works well and takes nice quality images BUT it does not have an image stabilizer and thats a must if you are a snap and shoot kind of photographer. My advice is check the age and check the functions in detail. However for under £40 you can`t really complain.

    its old syle but cheap

    broke a camerma in Austria on a church floor , therfore wanted to buy a cheap replacement this was cheap same mega output but very slow . For us it was compatible with printer therfore OK. But still have to buy a new canera to replace old not nearly as good but you pay for what you get no complaintsfrom me.

    Easy to use even without instructions

    I have bought this camera for my young Grandchildren, they love to use my digital camera, but it is too expensive a piece of equipment for them to use...This camera seems just right for them...I have tried it and it seems to work well I am sure they will master it very quickly...It is simple to use...Kate
