Das Gehäuse zur Leica M8 verfügt über eine 10,3 Megapixel Auflösung mit einer ISO Empfindlichkeit von 160 bis 2500. Als erstes sticht vor allem das traditionelle M-Design, das aus den 30er Jahren stammt, ins Auge. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein 2,5 Zoll LCD-Monitor mit einer Auflösung von 230.000 Pixel. Serienbilder lassen sich mit 2 Bildern pro Sekunde, bei höchster Auflösung, machen. Die Kamera richtet sich an die Profis. Dies ist vor allem daran sichtbar, dass sie keine Motiv-Programme und kein Video-Funktion bietet.

    Un très bon produit dont le prix est justifié.

    Un appareil très bien construit et performant. Leica reste la seule compagnie à fabriquer des appareils télémétriques numériques. L'utilisation peut déconcerter quand on est habitué aux automatismes des reflex mais les résultats en valent la peine !
