My only concern is fats will drop through the grill onto gas burner tube if one is being used instead of charcoal burner. I’ve spoken to the manufacturer about providing a simply deflector under the grill or modifying the cutouts to stop fats dropping onto the gas burner. This is a considerable improvement to the standard metal grill provided and should outlast the BBQ.
