The Monet Jigsaw Book arrived, securely packaged, 5 days before I was expecting to receive it. It was purchased as a "used, but in great condition, book of puzzles, but it looked like it was brand new. None of the six puzzles had been worked. I highly recommend this seller. The transaction couldn't have been better for me.

  • Gripping, Compelling Drama

This is a race against time across the frozen tundra of Alaska to deliver diphtheria serum to the people of Nome, Alaska, who were dying at an alarming rate. The race (which gave rise years later to the Iditarod) is run by a succession of dog teams and their masters. Make no mistake: Both the dogs and the mushers re-define the word "heroism." Their tenacity in the dark, barren waste of ice and sub-zero cold of Alaska's barren range will define bravery for all time. The authors make us care, really care, not just about the mushers, but for the dogs, especially the lead dogs, Balto and Togo, and it is no wonder that those lead dogs were accorded iconic status then and now.

  • Dog Gone Good Book !

Best non-fiction book I've read in a long while telling the truth of the real hero dog of the 1926 Diphtheria Serum Run, Togo who covered 261 miles total. Balto, the dog that got all the glory only did 55 miles. A must read book for dog lover's !
