  • Will Eisner, Still Relavant After Six Decades.

Will Eisner was the master at short story/graphic novel story telling. Social commentary, humour, drama, Interpersonal relationships, all with interesting graphic presentation that keeps this interest alive. The series gets better in these later stories. Each of these Archives, presents half a year worth of the Spirit Stories, reprinted from the original color Sunday Newspaper supplement that was printed sixty years ago. The relevance still is obvious, even after sixty years. Definitely worth taking the time to read these entertaining five page stories that Jules Fieffer, among others working in Eisner's studio, turned out every week.
