Der Titel meines Buches - Thai rak Thai - bedeutet ubrigens Thai liebt Thai . Beim Lesen des Buches werden Sie sich vielleicht irgendwann einmal fragen, warum ich uberhaupt noch in Thailand verweile. Aber seien wir doch einmal ehrlich, solche Geschichten koennten wir doch in und von jedem Land der Welt erzahlen und irgendwo mussen wir ja schliesslich leben. Also, warum nicht hier, wo wenigsten die Lebensqualitat sehr hoch, aber die Lebenshaltungskosten sehr niedrig sind. Ausserdem schreibe ich in meinem Buch nicht nur Geschichten von Thai's, die gegen Farang's sind, sondern einfach nur nette Anekdoten aus dem taglichen Leben. Manchmal schreibe ich auch einfach nur uber das Allgemeinverhalten oder die Kurzsichtigkeit der Thai's. Sie mussen auch wissen, dass man in Thailand viel geben muss, um wenig zu bekommen Meine Storys sollen nicht thaifeindlich ruberkommen, aber man kann nicht immer die Augen vor allem verschliessen. Wenn man immer nur zum Uhr-Laub (Urlaub) suchen nach Thailand kommt, dann sieht man das Land lediglich durch eine Sonnenbrille. Erst wenn man diese einmal absetzt, dann kann man auch ein wenig hinter die Kulissen blicken. Meine Geschichten stammen ubrigens ausschliesslich aus erster oder zweiter Hand, niemals aus dritter Hand, es muss alles nachvollziehbar sein. Wenn es jedoch bei Ihnen so ankommt, dass ich schlecht uber die Thai's spreche, dann meine ich naturlich nicht alle Thai's; Sie wissen ja Ausnahmen bestatigen die Regel . Sie alle kennen vermutlich das Wort Farang , aber ich denke nur wenige wissen was es wirklich heisst. Nein, es heisst nicht Langnase , Auslander , Weisser oder was auch immer. Ein Farang ist der Kafer, der in der Kuhscheisse lebt - ist diese Respektlosigkeit zu fassen ? Aber wir durfen nicht alle Thai's verurteilen (eigentlich schon, haha). Die jungere Generation, bis zu 30/35 Jahren sind sich der Bedeutung dieses alten Wortes gar nicht mehr bewusst. Sie sagen es halt, weil es immer schon gesagt wurde. Nur vi
