    Another Great Sidney Poitier movie !

    This is a great film. The always good Sidney Poitier is in top form. A very good crime-drama with a twist. Sidney Poitier is like in "The Heat of the Night" fantastic and very credible as the honest police detective with a family life. Also starring Martin Landau. The wonderful soul- & jazz singer Barbara McNair plays the role as Pointier wife. Highly recommended film.

    Bought this because we loved In the Heat of the Night......this wasn't so good though. Felt a bit laboured . Shame as we enjoy Poitiers films.
