I use this on all types of ants. It works amazing, especially for fire ants. It doesn’t repel them from their hill, it destroys the entire colony. I mix 1 portion for every gallon. Stir up the hill so the ants are running out in a craze, then spray them and also stick the nozzle in the hill and give that a spray until you can see bubbles. When I spray a hill the ants are gone by the next day. It is also great as a barrier around places on your house ants may try to get in as it crystallizes, and spraying flowering trees to keep ants off of those. You can even spray random lines of ants, which will bring the insecticide back to the nest. I will never purchase any other brand or type again. Definitely worth the price.

I was skeptical but this product killed ants I’ve been fighting for years in a few days. One spray around the foundation was all it took. Completely worth the cost. It doesn’t kill on contact but instead allows the worker ants to infect the whole colony. Eradicating the ants at the source.

Easy to use directions for mixing and bottle has nice readable pour amount markings. I used some in a sprayer to treat the infected wall and all wood in the surrounding area, much of the wood is replaced but I want to make sure everything in the area would be treated, also the ground below saturated. About a week I will do a second ground treatment to complete the task, this is a slow kill maintenance solution so time will tell. Latex gloves and proper handling are required while using or mixing this chemical.

Product arrived within a reasonable amount of time. It was well packaged and wasn't damaged. Taurus SC is identical to Termidor in its active ingredient. They recommend o.8 ounces to the gallon, and four gallons to every ten feet. They recommend you trench 6 inches deep along ten feet of the foundation to dump your four gallon mix. Observations: 1) You will need a flashlight to shine through the vessel at the top of the bottle to ensure your measurements are correct. This is pretty thick stuff, and without a light, you will be doing too much guesswork. 2) The recommended dosage is 0.8 ounces, but up to 1.6 ounces is allowable. Go with a higher mix on the sides of the house with lots of termite food like woodpiles and trees. 3) I'm not a pro, so I have plenty of time. My soil is very pourous. I mixed my four gallons, and rather than trench, I poured it along the top of the soil, careful to not go too fast and let it run off. This is slower than a pro wants to go, but it works, and avoids the problem of bridges of untreated soil being backfilled over your trench. Read full review

After much research I figured out that the big $$ pest control companies use this for not only termite control but it's great for ANT control. We had ants in our kitchen every Spring and every year I planted "hotels" and Sevin granuals. One application of this stuff outside against the house with no trenching and they are gone.
