Great hoover
First I ought to say that this is my third Vax. The first was finally killed off by a carpet that was fraying! The second has been pinched by my daughter! In between I have tried other makes but come back to Vax. I love this hoover, it moves well and is great at picking up off my carpet and hard floors alike. It has some weight but I quite like that, despite having a spinal injury. Not bad to empty. So far I am very happy with my purchase.First I ought to say that this is my third Vax. Compact Vacuum
Vax U84-AL-Pme Air Lift Steerable Pet Max Upright Vacuum is a compact little cleaner very easy to use straight from the box as the only part to clip on is the handle. A bit heavier than I expected but it can be separated for cleaning the stairs. The lead is very long which was one of the attractions but in hindsight can get in the way if you are not concentrating. Love the fact it is steerable so turns around furniture and flat enough to go under most of it. I did use the hose but did not realize the brush bar switch needs to be pressed afterwards, I thought I had broken it!!!!
