L'oxydation haute temp rature du syst me cuivre- tain a t tudi e de mani re approfondie et nous avons propos un mod le mettant en vidence le r le inhibiteur de l' tain. Nous avons galement tudi les patines intentionnelles antiques qui sont le r sultat de traitements chimiques effectu s par l'artisan pour modifier l'aspect et la couleur du mat riau m tallique. Pour cela nous avons analys un corpus exceptionnel d'objets de mus e. Ces analyses ont permis de r aliser des avanc es importantes dans la connaissance de ces objets et de ces techniques, mais aussi dans le domaine de l'histoire des techniques et stylistique dans l'Antiquit m diterran enne.
