Bei den Recherchen entdecken die Mordermittler des Landeskriminalamtes Jo Hersig und Marten Stolzin, dass sie sich in der BDSM-Szene bewegte, aber auch dass sie Pilotin war und ein Sportflugzeug besass. Diese Cessna ist bis unter das Dach vollgepackt mit C4 Plastiksprengstoff. Offensichtlich wurde die Ermordete erpresst und sollte dieses Flugzeug in ein den Ermittlern unbekanntes Ziel steuern. Unverzuglich wird Terroralarm ausgeloest und das Bundeskriminalamt eingeschaltet. Von dort wird die hochintelligente, hubsche aber leicht autistische Hauptkommissarin Samantha Baumann geschickt. Ihre Wirkung auf die beiden Hamburger Polizisten unterscheidet sich deutlich, denn wahrend Jo von ihrer Arroganz genervt ist, verliebt sich Marten in sie. Gemeinsam versuchen sie dem Moerder und den moeglichen Terroristen auf die Spur zu kommen. Sie sind sich einig: Egal, ob es sich um einen Tater handelt oder nur ein zufalliger Zusammenhang besteht, beide Falle weisen darauf hin, dass dieser Mord nur der Auftakt einer Inszenierung ist, die Tod und Zerstoerung bringt.
