    Kaweco Piston Convertor. Small, as in tiny....

    I bought this convertor because I prefer to use bottled inks; cheaper than buying cartridges and it allows me to mix inks for a very dark blue-blacks and greens. As it was for a Kaweco Sport fountain pen I was expecting it to be petite, but it really is tiny. That said, with an F or EF nib the convertor's ink capacity seems to hold up well. I'm not sure how long it would last before needing a refil with a medium nib. You always have the option of ditching both cartridge and piston and applying silicone grerase around the threads and filling up the pen body using a pipette. Overall I'm happy to recommend this product. [This cost a little over £5.00 in May 2020.]
