    This is a nice mug which arrived in a reasonable time and well- packaged. However, it was disappointing that, whilst described and labeled as bone China, it certainly doesn’t seem to be so and looked more like pot. We have several bone China mugs which we like since they better preserve the temperature of hot drinks. Those are clearly a very different product from that supplied. I suspect though that the seller’s supplier and not the seller is at fault in view of the packaging description.

    Pretty palette…possible mold?!

    This is a beautiful palette. Lovely, vivid mattes and shimmers. However, one of the blue shadows in the palette I received had strange white spots on it. Pictures of the palette around the internet don’t show these spots. They may have been mold. I scraped off the top layer and sanitised it with 70% IPA. The rest of the palette seems fine. The palette was new and sealed, so I’m not sure how this could have happened. I really hope it’s ok to use. The colours are lovely, with each shade named for a famous carnival. It could certainly make some dramatic eye looks. Or it could be used in tandem with another palette, to add a pop of colour to a more neutral eye.
