The remote came in original plastic sleeve., but didn't have a cell-battery already installed, which is okay since I just used the one from the remote I accidentally shattered. I'm very pleased. Takes about 10 days because it's shipped outside the U.S, but I didn't mind the wait as as I now have a remote that can control an older Dyson fan-heater that's no longer made.
