Synopsis
20 years ago, all the evil villains were banished from the kingdom of Auradon and made to live in virtual imprisonment on the Isle of the Lost. The island is surrounded by a magical force field that keeps the villains and their descendants safely locked up and away from the mainland. But hidden in the mysterious Forbidden Fortress is a dragon's eye: the key to true darkness and the villains' only hope of escape. Only the cleverest, evilest, nastiest little villain can find it... who will it be? Why, Maleficient of course!, Evil tree. Bad Apple? Twenty years ago, all the evil villains were banished from the kingdom of Auradon to the Isle of the Lost--a dark and dreary place protected by a force field that makes it impossible for them to leave. Stripped of their magical powers, the villains now live in total isolation, forgotten by the world. Mal learns from her mother, Maleficent, that the key to true darkness, the Dragon's Eye, is located inside her scepter in the forbidden fortress on the far side of the island. The eye is cursed, and whoever retrieves it will be knocked into a deep sleep for a thousand years. But Mal has a plan to capture it. She'll just need a little help from her "friends." In their quest for the Dragon's Eye, these four kids begin to realize that just because you come from an evil family tree, being good ain't so bad.

A very smooth transaction. Arrived quickly, and item price and shipping cost were very reasonable. The fragile, ceramic serving platter was in perfect condition, due to the great caution taken by the Seller in packaging the item to insure it arrived safely. The photos and details perfectly described the beautiful F&F serving platter. I love my purchase, and highly recommend the Seller. A+++

Very Good/Excellent Condition of The Isle of the Lost Hardcover Book

Thank you for having this hardcover book, The Isle of the Lost (Number 1 of the series) be in very good or pretty much excellent condition. I have been wanting to read the series of these books because I started reading the first one a long time ago but never finished it. I’m super excited to be getting back into this Descendants book series, since I LOVE the movies so much!!!!! Definitely will check you out to buy more products since this one looked brand new.

  • Good book for 4th-7th graders... Entertaining, engaging content, story and characters.

So far we have enjoyed this book. This is the first of a series of 3 books (I believe). Most evenings I have one daughter who goes right to sleep and the other wants to stay up. Last night after 10-12 pages of reading, neither one wanted to go to sleep. And immediately upon picking them up from school today they asked if we could read more.. This is probably a book for 8-13 year old age range, but older children (girls) might enjoy it as well

  • Prequel to the Movie

My girls love the Descendants movie. So, I decided to read the book thinking it was what the movie was based on. It's actually a prequel and adds a lot of background information that helped me appreciate it more.
