      Getting refreshed for the new Twin Peaks: Returned series now airing!

      I already had Season 1 so I purchased this to refresh my memory for the now series airing now caled Twin Peaks: Returned. If you like a good Avant-Gard murder mystery, with an aura of Noir in colour wrapped in light humour, then I thoroughly recommend that you view this series. Even if you have watched it before, many of you will want to see it again in prelude to viewing the new Twin Peaks: Returned series now airing. This quality product has good packaging and many DVD extras that add excellent value to this timeless series.

      Not delighted...

      Oh, please! Bad writing, really sad direction, poor acting, awful casting... I like some of the actors, but it was just awful! I am amazed that there is any following for this series. I couldn't stand it! I hope people expect MORE from TV shows.

      Twin peaks is a whacky prime time soap opera.

      I forgot what a soap opera Twin peaks was. I was sorter disapointed upon realizing that, but for the price i paid it has been entertaining and the characters are definitely engaging if not totally whacko.

      Twin Peaks review

      Strange, weird, uneven view of small town life from surrealist David Lynch. Lynch took TV to a different style and level with this show which hasn't been repeated since. Definitely offbeat and entertaining.
