This sturdy little adapter acommodates 4mm Banana, wire up to 8 AWG. For using bare wire, simply unscrew the 4mm Banana female jack and insert the bare wire in the hole located under than simply screw the 4mm banana female jack firmly. I recommand Audiocircle for good quality products, good communication, fair price
