    best quality make of this type of unit.

    I have had one before of this make and its been fine for aprox 5 years. I purchased another because I purchased another make only lasted 10 months.so this brand is the good one.

    Honest review

    Although the fan looks cheap it will actually slow down your fan. it works with 6 inch fans and it all comes down to the size of the motor hence it says 300w. I've used it to slow down a 6 inch standard fan, the problem is the fan cuts of when the knobs turn down by 1/4 turn but in that 1/4 turn it's aper sensitive so with a delicate touch you can alter the speed by a fair bit. If the fan was more powerful it would have a higher range. So a standard 6 inch fan will not start until the knob gets to about 3/4 way to full power bit that last quarter can be adjusted. Hope this made sense.

    Excellent product!

    I'm extremely pleased with this product, it's good quality and the price was fantastic. I needed to dim 5 x 60w bulbs and with this being compatible with up to 300w it's ideal. I've been able to turn the brightness right down to a lovely ambient glow which is exactly what I was aiming for. Highly recommended, it's been the perfect finishing edition to my project 👍🏼
