    Two times faster than Pentium D 820

    This made an excellent upgrade from a Pentium D 820. It runs so much cooler than the Pentium D, consumes less power 65W compared to the 95W Pentium D but processes informatiin 1.5 to 2 times faster. After updating the motherboard's BIOS this was easy to setup with new drivers needing to be installed. My old PC can now play Bluray disks and edit1080p HD videos without overheating. A great upgrade.

    Bargain upgrade to breathe new life into an old computer

    I bought this as an upgrade for an old hp pavillion running an e7200. As it was only £4, i decided to give it a go. The removal of the old chip was very straight forward. The new chip justs dropped in very easily and I applied new thermal compound (sold seperately). This chip doesnt feature integrated graphics like newer intel chips so i also upgraded the gpu. I also replaced the old hard disk with an ssd. The machine booted quite happily and the benchmarks showed a decent 20% performance increase It is now very useable and happily runs windows 10.

    Excellent value processor (SLB9J)

    This processor represents excellent value and this is something worth considering when carrying out either a computer repair or upgrading. The enclosed instructions were easy to understand and the processor was easily installed on to the motherboard using thermal grease.
