I vacuumed all our floors with our old vacuum (Hoover) then went over them with this dyson and I filled the tank on this TWICE!!! this thing is powerful and I’m amazed how much it picked up and slightly grossed out on how much the Hoover did not pick up!!! Dyson DC25
I purchased a used DC25. I guess I got what I paid for. I do like the suction, it's quiet and powerful compared to the cheaper off brands. I like the engineering that went into the unit. My only issue is that the motor howells when its turned off and winding down. I removed the filter in the ball and shut it down which fixed the problem. I guess I must have a bad filter. Washing out the filter made no difference. I have been waiting to see if I was going to like the unit before I purchase a new filter. Other than that issue I really like the Dyson.
