Stiffer Lighter better then Rubber
I put this bushing set on my 66 Impala rear control arms because rubber has a tendency to give and let the axle hop under acceleration, these bushings will hold the axle firmly in place compared to rubber, they will also outlast rubber. I had a 68 chevelle at one time and I had a problem with wheel hop, I thought I was going to have to put traction bars on it, but I was talked into changing the rear control arm bushings to polyurethane and it fixed the problem, If I build anything anymore with a little power to it I use polyurethane bushings.
