    Best Portable Ever Built

    Too bad GE no longer makes this radio because it is the best portable radio ever built unless you require a small radio. No other portable radio can pick up the distant stations the way this one does. And the sound is excellent. It uses Batteries and AC power and also has external hook-up for both FM and AM reception in addition to the internal antenna for AM and the pole antenna for FM. I love mine.

    Lives up to its reputation

    The radio has fine, natural sounding audio but most especially does a much better than average job picking up stations on both AM and FM. The ability to run on batteries makes it quite versatile. Like they say, they just don't make them like they used to!

    High performance radio from the '70's!

    I knew that this radio was truly a "Superadio" in its day, but this one is in mint condition and plays like new - as if it was locked in a time capsule for 40 years! The price was awesome too!
