This is one of Acorn's BEST situational comedies. If you have not seen this from Series ONE - treat yourself! Great to have a few laughs, especially during these trying times.

Great performances could not stop watching.
I had seen Doc Martin on the PBS a few times and was not impressed. Decided to tape Doc Martin to watch more and I was hooked on the show. It is only on periodically here so I ordered the series and on last DVD of 7. So fixated on Doc Martin, saw a preview of previous series William and Mary and It is on it's way to me. Wonderful show, highly recommend to all. Funny, sad, frustrating, everything is delightful. Characters are really well suited for their parts.

Earlier series are better. (Series 1 to 4)
I enjoyed the earlier series better. The longer this show goes on the weirder it gets. Start from the beginning and work your way up, buying each series as you go. I don't think I'll be buying any later series. I love the characters and the town but the writing/stories slowly ruin it.

Damaged goods
Love the series, but both DVD's were damaged so I could not view 3 of the episodes......so I guess it wasn't a good value after all :(. The video was in a wrapped cellophane, but must have been damaged at the factory.

Wonderful series
We enjoyed watching the episodes on PBS so much that we decided it imperative to have our own complete set. This set is complete (except for the next two anticipated seasons) with an additional movie.
