This Canon flash features a high guide number of 98 with ISO 100 film to give you greater reach or working distance for a flash. When set at AE, in the case of A-1 or AE-1, this automatic electronic flash unit sets the shutter speed and f/stop. Thanks to a large light output, this Canon flash increases the scope of flash photography. The Canon Speedlite 199A is the most powerful shoe-mount Speedlite in the Canon line that simply illuminates your subjects.

    Good Canon productbut not all that easy to set up.

    Canon quality and it does recycle quickly. Not that easy to set up but once set up works fine. On arrival did not work but cleaning all the battery contacts solved that.
