    Solid little camera

    I have been using Nikon DSLRs for twenty some years. I took to this mirrorless camera right away. I like the size and weight of the Z6 and I find it balances nicely. even using the FTZ adapter. The camera is solid and has a good build quality. It feels like a sturdier camera than some of the Nikon prosumer DSLRs. I love the customizable features and am able to set up the camera controls the way I am used to. I plan to use the Z6 for all my event work but will have to get extra batteries as the battery seems a bit short lived.

    Lightweight and lots of control.

    This is a great little camera and perfect for travel and real-estate photography. For landscape work you'll probably want the Z7 for the higher resolution. I just wish I could turn off the auto lens corrections. For that I'm taking off one star. It also eats through batteries like candy. Other than that its great!

    Great Mirrorless Option for Nikon shooters

    I was on the fence for a long time about mirrorless, especially given the significant investment I have in Nikon glass. I still have my DSLRs and being able to use my lenses has made the Z6 a great first step. It's great for portraits, landscapes and family photos. I have a D500 for sports and wildlife so I don't plan to use the Z for that. Now I'm waiting for the newer Z series lenses to come out to see what to add. I'm thinking the faster 50mm might be worth it.
