FANTASTIC SERIES - HIGHLY ENTERTAINING & SO MUCH TO WATCH
If you're a fan of the 70's tv shows this one makes a great addition to your collection. I remember watching this show with my dad when I was a youngster and it's been a real treat to see it again. William Conrad is s loveable character and the show was very well written and produced. You will notice the picture quality isn't the best at times, but the soundtrack is solid I'll bet it looks better than it did when originally broadcast on the older tv sets of the day. When one of the DVDs of a large set has a scratch that makes it difficult to read you may be able to accept it as a manufacturing issue, but when more than 6 DVDs have scratches, and can only be read after cleaning, you have to wonder if the set you bought as NEW really was. It is easy enough to repackage a used set with shrink wrap and call it NEW. Did the seller do that for this set? It would be hard to prove but it does seem likely and the effort required to clean the DVDs that were scratched made the lower price no bargain at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does not have closed caption
The video picture is exactly as it was when it was on TV. The series is great, there is no enhancement for making the picture clearer, but it's still nastalgicly good enough for these old eyes. However, even though the box clearly has the "cc" symbol and is the reason I bought this more expensive box set, it does not have closed caption. I bought this because my ears are "broken" (as my grandson says). So I'm watching it anyway because I love the show but I miss a lot because I can't hear it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
