Mini USB Adapter Wireless Dongle
My laptop changed and was unable to connect to the internet in one room of my house but was ok in other rooms. Other laptops and tablets were able to connect to the internet in the room that I couldn't with my laptop. I was advised to get a USB Wireless Dongle. Although I didn't know much about them I ordered one on EBay. At the start it worked and I was able to connect to all rooms in my house but after a short period of time the Wireless Dongle broke and it kept disconnecting at times and was loose in the USB port of my laptop. Sanity saving USB Adapter Wireless Dongle Adaptor
Since upgrading to Windows 10 last year, have had a nightmare with wifi connections constantly being interrupted. Good little dongle!
As a last minute win 10 upgrader I grudged the time it took to iron out the quirks as my aging Epson D88 printer wouldn't work and my, equally, aging Belkin USB wireless dongle wasn't at all happy, producing drop outs and slow speeds. I got the printer going with a bit of faffing about and then I decided to do something about the wifi. I had a look on eBay and found this one which had sold a good few dozen :) already. So at a fiver, I thought it's worth a go. I did spend a LOT of time trying different install methods and went around in circles forgetting what I'd done previously. I've been at this 20yrs+ and am somewhat thicker now so was on the point of contacting the supplier for assistance (the mobile phone number given is defunct) as the instructions don't mention Windows 10. I and I had it in my mind that it would need something special. I tried the WPS feature and couldn't get that to work although I've not had trouble with WPS before. I also downloaded the latest driver but in the end I did a 'don't try and be clever' install using the supplied disk. My PC never seemed to recognise the dongle reliably and I wasn't sure whether to put in the dongle first and then load the driver. I just loaded the plain driver without the application which was a bit cryptic for my taste. Anyway I DID get it going eventually and it works very, very well so far. No dropouts, no need to put it into the best signal spot, with a lead as with the old Belkin, so apart from the poor instructions I think it's a little cracker!! This particular model with RealTek software works better than the existing internal wifi adapter. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

i bought this wi-fi usb dongle to try and use the 3rd pc upstair's did not honestly think it would work but it worked better than a well known brand that cost me £39.99 that good that now i am using it on my main pc upstair's and my son has the well known brand one as this little thing is even faster both were 300mpbs and for the price is excellent if your wondering about it wonder no more can't recommend enough windows 10 took it straight away and running brilliant gonna buy more at that price all the bestVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy Wifi on Linux PCs
A no frills wifi dongle. I didn't bother to test on Windows since I assumed that if it worked in Linux, it would work with other proprietary OS's using the supplied driver on mini-CD. (Usually cheap products offload processing to the PC to save a few chips in the device. This often means that it only works on a limited number of operating systems or is not completely standards compliant. However in this case it seems to work perfectly). I plugged the dongle into a fresh install of Ubuntu Linux Mate 16.04LTS and it was detected and supported immediately without any user input at all (ie no drivers to install or configure). A click on the network connection icon and entering the WPA password had me connected to a Netgear 802.11 modem router in just a few seconds. Speed seemed pretty good. Signal strength seemed good through a single solid block wall about 10m away. For the price, a bargain. Useful to keep as a spare in your parts box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good gadget
This dongle is about as easy as they come to use - especially with Windows 10. No need for drivers. Just plug and play. The ONLY thing I can gripe about is that I also have a bluetooth adapter, and it seems to disable when the dongle is plugged into another USB. However, to be fair, it's not the end of the world and COULD be because my laptop is getting on a bit now and is developing the odd problem here and there. All in all, a great product. Easy and really good !
Before I use a big usb device ( was expensive before 8 years) and this was 1300 Mb/s That is broke( plug has gone so I decide to try something cheap ...and small size. I ordered this device.....come really fast, install from cd and works with no difference compare with previous device,for what I need daily but this is really small and offer practicality .
