We used this for live Karaoke. The band is loud and the monitors are cranked. Did it sound as good as a Beta 58? No. Did it sound good and everyone loved being wireless. For sure! Cheap battery that came with it last four hours straight. Got dropped a couple of times and still worked. Only real problem I had with it was the shape of the handle. It doesn't fit into a standard mic clip. I used a spring loaded clip and it worked ok but most people couldn't get the mic in the clip without help. Well worth the price!

The sound quality is fine, but you must speak close into the front of the mic for it to receive. One mic had a descent distance from the receiver to receive, the other mike had to be close. For a small event they might be fine. I used them for my wedding and was unsatisfied as everyone who spoke had to hold them directly in front of their mouths. and speak loudly. for the price I don't know what else would work better though. they say professional, but are far from.

This system is very easy to setup and use. It was not necessary to consult the user manual to get everything up and running. You have to be careful to set the tone controls on your mixer so that you minimize clipping on the the high frequency end and also on the lowest range in the bass. Once that is done, the sound from the mics is excellent and is clear and clean.

I purchased the Pyle Pdwm2100 for a first time try out of wireless microphones. For the price , I was amazed at the sound quality and the distance range (50-150 Meters). The sound actually compared well with some of the high end microphones I own. The pdwm2100 seems to operate best with a high quality battery. The things I didn't like about the microphones are a hiss sound I am getting during operation. If both channels are turned up it is stronger. When only using one it is not bad. I am still experimenting with this problem. I am sure a gate and filter would help. Another thing I didn't like was that the independent output is not what I thought it would be. There is only one output. This is the output for both microphones. In this case "independent", means one at a time. All in all I was satisfied with my purchase. Pyle seems to make some good quality items.Read full review
These mics are lighter than all others we've used. Sound is good, not sure of distance as we use them for Karaoke so we're close to the unit. The cord on this unit was touchy... we had to prop it against the tv to keep the signal. Not a huge deal, but had we not needed to use the mics immediately for a party, I would have sent them back for an exchange.
