    This is great to keep around the house for fixing things. I like the stiffness of it because it makes it easier to craft things with. My sons and I are using it right now to make bushcraft furniture for a school project and I have to say this is very strong cord. I use a length of it as a lanyard on my beltloop so I don't lose my Macgyver knife.

    Great product...

    I find the #12 bankline to be the best balance of strength and thickness for various field needs such as shelter building, tool making etc. This size allows you to carry a lot of it in a small space such as a sewing bobbin or wound up in an altoids type tin without a lot of bulk. It gives more than adequate support when used for binding limbs for framework such as a fire spit without using too much and knots wont slip out due to the tar content in the line.
