This is a great item, and does *exactly* what it says it will do. I have an Epson R800 which had reach the end of its life due to a full ink waste sponge, and with the provided instructions I was able to install this without any fuss or bother. It's not a difficult process at all and took about 15 minutes all in. I did break off a couple of small plastic clasps on my printer but is not a problem and didn't affect the functioning of the printer in any way. (This was just my clumsiness, and not indicative of the quality of the instructions or product.) The supplied software allowed me to reset my printer's waste ink counter and hay-presto I'm back to a fully-functional printer and it's working like a champ. it's very satisfying to see ink being spat into this little plastic tub, rather ... There's no need to have to resort to expensive service charges, especially in our case since we do not have easy or close access to a repair or service center. So far this product has only been in use for a couple weeks, but we have not encountered any problems.
