I loved this cell phone (Motorolla Razr V3m) when it first became available. It was state-of-the-art! Now, after having newer cell phones, and with the latest, the Samsung Galaxy S4, trying to go back to this style of phone, with the voluminous amount of texting I do now, I just couldn't make the transition back to the old way of texting. This phone is a great phone for people who don't want to text message, use messenger, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. The list goes on. The phone was nice. Well taken care of, with only minimal wear and tear. The seller was quick in sending the phone. Bottom line...I'm spoiled now.

Phone works perfectly as expected except for the battery. Battery performance is poor since the battery is almost 10 years old. I would not rely on this phone for daily usage unless you end up purchasing a new battery.

Ok, with it being 2010 by today's standards of brick sized phones that does everything under the sun this phone doesn't hold a candle to them. But and this is a big BUT, if you looking for a phone that, makes calls, send texts, can take photos, not pocket dial, is not pron to freezing up and has a great battery life. In other words if your looking for a simple phone that "just works" and doesn't take up a lot of space in your pocket then it just doesn't get any better then a Motorola RAZR. With all of that said, and if you want one please keep in mind that your going to be buying tech that is at least 3 years old (marking stopped in July of 07) , most likely older. Compared to phones of today it's going to have a slower response time and the pictures aren't going to be what you have been use to. This is my third and using it is like hanging out with an old friend, I often wish that they would bring it back so I wouldn't have to buy used ones online.Read full review
This is a hard phone to beat for the price (under $40.00 refurbished). The Razr is still a great cell phone when what you need to do is make voice calls. It's hard to beat for size and weight. While this is not anyway near a cutting edge product anymore, it still offers very good voice quality, and handsfree dialing. I was still using my original Razr V3c when I lost it in an airport in December 2010. Except for 2 battery replacements, my Razr V3c lasted almost 5 years, with no trouble or repairs. While I plan to get a 4G smartphone this year, I still wanted a Razr for backup, and situations where lugging around a 4.3" Android phone wasn't convenient. For a small phone, the Razr still feels expensive and solid. For literally a few dollars more than a V3c, the V3m adds more storage, MP3/WMA music playback and the ability to add a 2GB transflash/MicroSD card.Read full review
When Deciding to buy a new phone always compare prices to the phones original retail price. Whats the phone selling for at retail? Whats it selling on ebay new and used? The price almost always will be lower on ebay unless its an item in high demand. That will tell you alot about the quality of the item. If it sold at the end of auction at a fraction say 1/8 of retail price, be wary theres a reason if its continually selling at that price. Read reviews do your home-work especially on technology. Having said that The Motorola Razr V3m has like any phone good points and bad points. Good points 1. Smaller slimed down version/easier to just put in pocket for men and smaller purses for women 2. has internet access/ vcast 3. has a camera within the phone resolution not bad but not top of the line decent for ameteurs like the most of us 4. voice command capabilities 5. overall not a bad phone to start out with for a beginner techie person Bad points 1. If you have verizon verizon limits the ability of this phone to only verizon sold ring tone...as far as I can tell. Which is good and bad. good in the sense your not trying to download free ring tones to a website with viruses. and bad in the sense well your gonna have to pay. 2. I have noticed if you dont speak directly into the phones speaker theres a possiblity the person on the other end didnt hear you or not very well. I dont know if its a problem with the phones volume levels or the speaker itself but apparently this is common for this style phone. 3. Finally the MAIN problem with this phone is battery life. This is the reason this phone got a 4 instead of a 5 for me. All phones have pros and cons this is my biggest. The phones slimmer version is good for smaller areas but also the phones battery is much smaller as well. Therefore battery life is less for this phone. For my experience I have to charge my phone about every 48-60 hrs or so about every 21/2 days. Which for me was alot more for this phone than previous phones. So you may want to invest in a car charger. Now having said all that the decisions up to you. These are my observations and information I have obtained. I hope this has been helpful. Goodluck bidding.Read full review
