    As good as the Skoda original

    The original flip case of my 2010 Skoda Fabia ignition key broke and I bought this as a replacement to fit myself. The quality of the replacement case is as good as the original and the key was fitted to it following an instruction video on social media without much difficulty. It has now been in regular use for the past month or so without any problems. The only apparent difference from the Skoda original is that the circular depression to house the Skoda logo is slightly too small to accomodate the one from the original Skoda case - but who cares!

    Replacement Skoda key fob

    I used search engines to find the method to strip the key, swap over the electronics and rebuild. The remote locking still worked. I was also able to fit my old car key into this new key fob, it took a little while but worked. I now have a replacement key for under £10

    nice key fob casing

    Nice key casing with pin and blank, i used existing key without any issues, well made and was easy to assemble remember to add tension by turning spring once, there are youtube videos to show how.

    Purchased this to replace a worn key fob...

    Purchased this to replace a worn key fob for Skoda Fabia mk2. If you carefully drill two small holes either side of the securing pin on the old fob you can pull the pin out with thin nosed pliers, then prise open to gain access to the transponder chipboard. Managed to refit the existing key and now have a working fob again.
