Excellent for the price
I wasn't going to spend £100+ on the Climair ones that may well get damaged or lost off road, so I went for these. Unlike most of the other internal fit wind deflectors for the Defender these ones fit inside the window channel itself, making for a very easy fit but it does make the window tight to close at the very top. I recommend widening the channel slightly. I would also suggest using considerably more double sided tape to ensure they stay in. Once fitted leave your windows closed for a day or so to ensure they stay in place. Overall quality is good and much better than previous ones I have bought. The also include the indent to fit around the front window blocks, can be seen in the photograph below. I would suggest these over the Climair ones on price alone. Cracked and snapped as soon as the window was put up!!!
Followed the installation instructions and a how too video on youtube for HEKO wind deflectors. However, as soon as I put the window up, the deflector crack and snapped into 2 pieces! Now I don't have a wind deflector for my right front window which is pretty important as I have a right hand drive! I also find it strange how the smaller rear window deflectors have 4 adhesive strips and the bigger front windows only have 2! Seems like it should have minimum of 4 if not more, and more metal clips as well! Either way I was not happy and now am left with the window I most wanted a wind deflector on, still without a wind deflector!Followed the installation instructions and a how too video on youtube for HEKO wind deflectors. Land Rover Defender
Near side front cracked and rear end snapped off after an hour. Struggle to close both front windows fully. Rear just about fit ok. Shame really as I have Heko deflectors on a couple of other cars and they have all fitted and worked perfectly. Maybe it’s just a Defender thing. Good quality wind deflectors.
Great quality wind deflectors, these fitted very well and came with adequate instructions. I bought these to fit a 1993 CSW defender, which they fitted perfectly. I bought a second pair for my 2012 defender, cut they took some minor adjustment to fit due to slight variations between years. Overall a great product at a cheap price, would recommend.
