      If you need to cool a CPU for an older machine or lower end new PC build this B Grade enthusiast product is great.

      I have used it for years. Never a problem. Cools the CPU as advertised. It uses Aluminum not Silver like their higher end Arctic Silver which is intended for high end computers but it still does a fine job. Highly recommended product.

      Great!

      Our HP DV6 laptop was running hotter than usual, which is scary enough. Pulling the beast apart revealed the old thermal compound was 'pining for the fjords' as they say. Looked, and felt, like very old toothpaste. No wonder it was warm! Several ounces of alcohol later, the bright shiny chips were given a nice even coat of the new thermal paste. I chose this ceramic mix on the recommendation of several boards I read. After reassembly, the system appears to be happier than anytime in recent memory. CoreTemp utility shows even under high CPU loads, the temp stays between 55 and 80 degrees C. Doing this process is neither fun nor fast. But unless you LIKE buying new computers every few months, it is time well spent.

      Great product for any PC has heat issue or noisy fan.

      It is easy to apply on CPU surface. No mess. My ausus laptop was constantly running at noisily high speed. After apply the thermal paste, it is now very quite. I also apply to my dell laptop, MacBook Pro. The result is fantastic.

      Great stuff to use.

      This is the first time using this product. I upgraded a core duo to a core 2 duo 8200 and it had an Intel fan and heat sink. I had to modify the pushpins on the heat sink, I then put the Artic Alumina on the cpu and then put on the heat sink and I have a happy computer. Course I have some added memory. When I checked the temperature on a third party cpu temp software. It said that all of my cores which were four now instead of two. They were running at 40 degrees F. It is extremely quiet.
