Excellent value LED driver/transformer
I bought this LED driver as I wanted to change my 8 kitchen downlighters from 12 volt 20 watt halogen bulbs to 12 volt 5 watt LED bulbs. This would reduce the electricity consumption from 160 watts to 40 watts and increase the light output considerably. Of course the transformer I had would not be suitable for LEDs and is rated at 160 watts. It took me around 20 minutes to change the transformer and about the same to go around and change all 8 bulbs. When I switched them on, I was pleased with the light output, but furthermore, when I checked my energy monitor, all 8 lamps were consuming a little under 40 watts. So I have decided to buy another transformer and do the same with my hall and landing lights which are also 12volt 20 watt. A very good product at a reasonable price: highly ...
