Thank you for prompt delivery of Bewitched The Complete First Season. I was a fan of the serious and delighted I have the DVDs in my video library... Thanks to YOU! It always a treat to watch these classic characters from yesterday. Elizabeth Montgomery of course was the daughter of the legendary Robert Montgomery from the Golden Age of Hollywood starring in over 50 cinematic film showcasing a wide variety of roles. As an extra treat, Dick York busted onto the silver screen starring in the epic drama, "Inherit The Wind" which included a powerful triple threat of the movie matinee idols, Spencer Tracy, Fredric March & Gene Kelly. Bewitched, the TV show boasted a mega-star of its own from both the stage & screen, the extremely talented , Agnes Moorehead who abandons her usual thespian-fair by providing a slew of comedic sketches putting down York's character, Darren Stephens to the chagrin of Montgomery's character of Samantha as the show commences and then rolls out a wild cast of guest appearances most notably, Paul Lynde is hysterical as Uncle Arthur, Marion Lorne was kooky, yet charming as Aunt Clara, and who could forget the highly theatrical British classical actor, Maurice Evans, in comedic form playing Sam's father "the Warlock". Lots of FUN for all ages to enjoy! Read full review

My grandchildren and I have something in common! We like Bewitched! The complete first season comes with 4 discs. I enjoyed watching Bewitched as a child and it is even better now that they have colorized it. This Christmas gift from my son has provided hours of entertainment for myself and my family. Very funny and always seems to have a moral behind each episode. You just never know what is going to happen next and you can't get bored watching Bewitched! Paul Lynde is Samantha's driving instructor in the first season, but comes back in the second season as Uncle Arthur. The Tates find out Louise is pregnant and Larry mistakenly thinks it is Samantha that is. The Kravits and Stevens each bring an orphan home for Christmas. The Blooper reel points out mistakes they have made on the set. Good clean, funny, non-violent entertainment for the entire family.Read full review
Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha in "Bewitched" will Tickle your funny Bone along with the rest of the Cast. Bewitch is a must buy - all her DVD`s. Samantha is a modern-day witch who marries Ordinary mortal,Darrin. The hilarity beginnig from the first episode. Samantha tell him she`s a witch. Darrin replies that he is from the "show me state." Samantha demonstratis her powers with several "tricks." He tries to put his cigarette out. She makes it impossible for him by zipping the ashtray across the coffee table. He`s still not convinced that she is a witch. He says he needs a drink. One appears in his hand. He changes his drink order several times. Stunned, his drink keeps on changing. Finally with faint belief he acknowledges that she is indeed a witch. The episodes just keep on getting funnier. They will keep you in stiches and laughing out loud.Read full review
I purchased seasons two through five of "Bewitched" at a discount store and thought it would be wise of me to have season one to complete the set. It is great to see how Samantha, Darrin, Endora, Aunt Clara and the Kravitzes characters are developed in the first season and made "Bewitched" a classic television series. A little advice: Since season one of "Bewitched" was broadcast originally in black and white and the rest of the series is broadcast in color, you may want to decide if you want to purchase the colorized DVD or the black and white DVD. I purchased the colorized season one DVD of "Bewitched" because I have seasons two through five DVDs of "Bewitched" and they were all originally broadcast in color.

Very entertaining and amusing start to a wonderful classic TV show. I love seeing these in color for the first time. I'm not a witch and do not promote witchcraft but deep down I know we'll have special powers in heaven and will be able to do a lot of things we could not do in the flesh. Elizabeth Montgomery was surely the star of the show because she was devoted to her husband and wanted to live a normal life with him and enjoy it without all of the witchcraft involved and I think there is a very good human lesson to be appreciated from that.
