This collection honors one of the first great companies in the video game industry by reissuing versions of 12 arcade classics for play on IBM Compatible systems. Included are Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Centipede and Millipede, Crystal Castles, Gravitar, Missile Command, Pong, Super Breakout, Tempest, and Warlords. The bundle also features video interviews and press releases from the original games and comes with a souvenir sticker, all in honor of the 30th anniversary of Atari. This PC version also includes a desktop wallpaper and Windows theme.

    Oldie but goody

    Actually I had this CDROM before but lost it, so when I saw this one I bought it, I'm building a Win 98XP computer so I alreay know it's a great game.

    Atari Anniversary Edition (PC Games)

    Playing the Atari Anniversary Edition brought back fun memories of the arcade experience I had as a teen.The games are exactly like the arcade versions.I mainly brought the game for the Asteroids,there are (2) versions which I both enjoy I also like the tank game BattleZone and the classic Missile Command.I can't remember all the games on this disc but their are (11) different games.This was a good purchase for me and worth my money.Just imagine how much it would cost to buy all the actual games not to mention all the room the games would require they would also require maintenance. This game Doesn't need any of that.Everything works fine and I haven't had any problems at all.

    just as I remembered

    I wish I could go back in time with this game, just to save some of the mountain of quarters I spent on each game in the arcades!!(I would have enough for a nice car!!)plays well and faithful to the originals.the illusion of simplicity and ease is just that- a illusion as challenging and fun as the originals were. less is more. a real retro blast from the past

    Atari Anniversary Edition

    I liked the menu, the easy navigation, it was exactly as described. I like the old arcade games, and I have a lot of fun with this edition. I reminisce about 'the good old days' when I play this CD.
