Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Radio Tuners
The tuner is fine. Simple enough to use, but the display on mine became hard to see. I contacted Polk Audio about this issue and never received a reply. But, it still functioned. However, is satellite radio worth the subscription for home stereo? Sirrius/XM crams so many stations into their allotted spectrum that the individual stations do not have sufficient bandwidth to provide a high quality sound. FM stereo is FAR superior in sound quality..higher highs and lower lows. Crisper, cleaner music. If you live in a remote area where there are no FM stations, then satellite radio will provide a great variety of music or sports or talk or whatever you want. BUT, do NOT expect CD quality sound.

This is a truly hi-fi component with a Burr-Brown DAC. It replaces the one I bought when they first came out. The display light quit though the tuner still worked. I think they sold for $299 so the current prices are very reasonable. It's a must have to fully enjoy home satellite radio. The digital coax output sounds much better than analog.

We got this tuner for our outdoor theater. It works great for us. Although it would be nice if it had the direct tuning numbers on the unit itself instead of by remote. It has both digital (COAX/Optical) and Analog audio outputs for maximum compatibilitiy.

Several of the questions asked by this survey are irrelevant to the product. It's just a remote control for the old Polk satellite radios, which were (and remain) the best way to get audio in that format.
