Just the job
Although i only use my 8 year old Toshiba laptop for copying cd's, I had a problem with it not charging. I wasn't sure if it was the lead or the laptop itself, so i took both to my local Currys to get them tested. They told me it was the lead and that they sold a universal replacement that was around £34 iirc. I decided to take a chance on this one at less than a quarter of the price and I'm glad i did. Although the quality is obviously not as good as the original (it's a lot lighter), i plugged it in and it worked straight away. I've been using it for a few weeks now and not had any problems with it. Plugged in and worked straight away. No problems. My laptop is Toshiba Satellite Pro L650-1CJ Have been using for 4 days now, gets ever so slightly warm to touch, nothing worrying. It is constantly plugged to mains and tolerates it well (no overheating) Replaced old charger that come with laptop. Looks to me like an original Toshiba. It says on charger cover 'Made in China' which is the same as the one that come with laptop. Free delivery took 4 days which is a decent timeframe.
