Good value and fast delivery, even by 2nd Class Royal Mail. Lens hood appears to be of good quality (for the price), fits well into the 67mm thread and there is no vignetting on a 70-300 mm full frame lens even at the widest angle when attached to a single UV filter rather than the lens itself. The hood will protect the lens from knocks and the filter from finger marks, scratches etc. Very happy with purchase. Wherever possible I buy from and support UK sellers. I recomend this seller.

    Useful protection for lens.

    Fitted to a Nikon 70-300mm full-frame lens for which the manufacturer-supplied hood was missing. Even at the 70 mm with the hood fully extended, there is no discernable vignetting. The soft rubber provides good protection to the lens from knocks and finger marks. An added benefit is it can be pressed against windows if taking pictures through glass (e.g. at zoo) and cuts down reflections. Screwing the lens hood on and off is a minor incovenience and takes longer that with the standard bayonet fittings. In terms of quality, it appears to be reasonably well made from suitable materials.The price was good, as well.

    Lense hood blocks stray light.

    Great idea, fits well, however with limited use, when lense not zoomed will create a circle around picture, so can only be used when shooting distance , ok if you are capturing distant subjects, wildlife etc. I love the idea of this product, but would be better if it fitted to outside of lenselike tulip designs.

    Fallen apart already

    I bought this for a my new Canon 18-135mm lens - it's not specifically designed for the lens so not surprising I can't use it unless zoomed in a fair amount. What is annoying is I only used it for a few days last week and the whole rubber section came off the bit that screws onto the lens. I've managed to wedge it on for now but will need to glue it I guess to fix it. Wouldn't buy again.
