    priming bulb split for no obvious reason

    I fitted it to a B&S Classic about 3 weeks ago it was tested for about 10 minutes ,it was not used again until today when it would not start, the new bulb was found to have split,it was not use in the intervening period,the petrol used was Tesco unleaded are these bulbs suitable for this fuel.The engine was fitted to a push mower.
