This Hozelock reel is great, top quality, easy to install and easy to use. You will need to buy a long shackled padlock to secure the hose housing to the wall mounting bracket which for the price of this hose you’d think that the manufacturer would have included one and built the padlock into the price.

Hoselock 20 meter autoreel
Hoselock have discontinued making the model I wanted to buy. I will therefore have to make do with the only model that almost fulfils my requirements. I have had to modify it to suit my requirements. I had the last hose lock for 15 years and it was brilliant. I will have to use it to see if it is weather proofed.

Hozelock 20m self locking/reeling hoze
Can't get much better than a hozelock, bought it to replace a 15 year old hozelock so has some longevity and it was only the hose that had various pinholes in it. I could have just changed the hose but they are such good value for money I thought I would treat us to a nice shiny new one. But miffed though as the very next day I saw it cheaper and ten metres longer in Screwfix, that will teach me to shop around first!!Can't get much better than a hozelock, bought it to replace a 15 year old hozelock so has some longevity and it was only the hose that had various pinholes in it. Great product, never leave the hose piled up in the corner again or get it tangled up on the reel as it has a moving hose guide that feeds it perfectly every time.

Hozelock replaced with a Hozelock
I have had an identical model to this, must be ten years old now and was still functioning however the hose was starting to bulge in places so time for a replacement; looking around I could not find a better item so went for same again. Fitting it to the wall outside the garage was easy, I simply withdrew the bar holding the old reel unit to the wall bracket and then offered up the new reel unit and inserted the bar again so it was fitted in a matter of minutes.I have had an identical model to this, must be ten years old now and was still functioning however the hose was starting to bulge in places so time for a replacement; looking around I could not find a better item so went for same again.
