Spot on bird colouring so easy to identify birds
Cheap price in good condition my Dad gave me the hard back copy in 1980 l lost that one when I moved to Birmingham 1998 the one Dad gave me again in 2014 got ruined when the conservatory leaked last year found books pages all stuck together it was last present from Dad he past away year later I'm 68 so it reminds me Dad

This is a very good general purpose book for the identification of British Birds. They are sectioned into different categories such as Garden, Field, Town, etc., to show you where you are likely to see them most. Each bird is represented with a good full colour picture in a realistic pose, along with text giving their general characteristics and other interesting information. This is a thick and hefty work of around 470 pages, with one page for each bird species along with other general bird watching sections. As a second hand or even new buy, this can be strongly recommended.This is a very good general purpose book for the identification of British Birds.
