Just to get the bad out of the way, I did not know that this HDD was a 12mm drive. Either that, or I read the description too quickly. Being that it's a little thicker, it doesn't fit in my other laptops, but I actually found a good enclosure, so in essence, I got a great GREAT deal for a DIY external hard drive. In spite of the original mix up, I'm EXTREMELY happy with this purchase.
Massive stored capacity of 1.5TB. This is the 12.5mm height old version, 2.5" internal hard drive. Very reliable. Only cons, it's hard to find an external case, if you want to use it as a mobile hdd.
